HIPTHER Baltics 2026 Brings Together 430 Industry Leaders and Establishes a New Regional Platform for Baltic and Nordic Markets

HIPTHER has successfully concluded the inaugural edition of HIPTHER Baltics 2026, a three-city conference series that brought together a total of 430 participants across Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia, creating a new regional platform for knowledge sharing, networking, and collaboration among key stakeholders from the gaming, fintech, technology, and regulatory sectors.

Building on the legacy of the renowned MARE BALTICUM Gaming & TECH Summit, HIPTHER introduced a new country-focused format designed to address the regulatory, technological, and business challenges shaping the future of the Baltic and Nordic markets.

The series attracted regulators, operators, fintech leaders, compliance specialists, legal experts, technology providers, investors, and startup representatives, fostering meaningful discussions around some of the most pressing topics affecting the region.

The 2026 edition featured three dedicated events:

  • HIPTHER Baltics: Vilnius – iGaming Regulation & Fintech Integration
  • HIPTHER Baltics: Riga – Cross-Border Compliance & Player Protection
  • HIPTHER Baltics & Nordics: Tallinn – Digital Governance & Startup Innovation

Vilnius: Examining Lithuania’s Regulatory Evolution

The series opened on April 21 in Vilnius, where participants explored Lithuania’s evolving regulatory framework and the increasing convergence between fintech, payments, blockchain, and iGaming.

Key discussions focused on MiCA implementation, anti-money laundering requirements, digital assets, tokenization, artificial intelligence in financial services, next-generation payments, and the growing role of compliance as a driver of sustainable business growth.

Riga: Balancing Compliance and Innovation

The second event took place on May 11 in Riga, bringing together professionals from the gaming, fintech, technology, and regulatory sectors to discuss the practical realities of operating in increasingly regulated environments.

Sessions covered responsible gaming, player protection, fraud prevention, AML developments, the use of AI in supervision and taxation, payment innovation, cross-border licensing, data protection, affiliate marketing, and the shift from traditional SEO strategies toward AI-driven discoverability.

Tallinn: Digital Innovation Meets Future Governance

The series concluded on June 2 in Tallinn, one of Europe’s most digitally advanced capitals.

The conference explored the intersection of digital governance, startup ecosystems, digital identity, investment, regulatory compliance, fintech innovation, and iGaming. Discussions ranged from eIDAS 2.0 and trusted digital onboarding to AI-powered business growth and the future of digital societies.

Tallinn also hosted the HIPTHER Baltic & Nordics Gaming Awards 2026, recognizing excellence among operators, suppliers, technology providers, and industry leaders from across the Baltic and Nordic regions.

Beyond the Conferences

In addition to the conference sessions, attendees benefited from curated networking opportunities designed to facilitate meaningful business connections and regional collaboration.

Participants also gained access to practical learning programs through HIPTHER Academy, the organization’s educational platform focused on professional development, certifications, and industry-specific training.

According to HIPTHER, the combination of boutique-style events, high-level content, and valuable networking opportunities has further reinforced the Baltics’ reputation as a leading European hub for innovation, regulation, and cross-border cooperation.

Looking Ahead to HIPTHER Baltics 2027

Reflecting on the success of the series, Zoltan Tündik, Co-Founder and Head of Business at HIPTHER, highlighted the achievements of the inaugural edition.

“We are incredibly proud of what we achieved across the Baltics in 2026, but this is only the beginning. The success of the three-city series has provided us with valuable insights, feedback, and inspiration that we are already incorporating into the planning of HIPTHER Baltics 2027. The Baltics have a unique energy when it comes to business events, innovation, and networking, and we are excited to continue growing alongside this vibrant community.”

Following overwhelmingly positive feedback from participants and sponsors, HIPTHER confirmed that planning is already underway for an expanded 2027 edition.

In the meantime, the organization continues to advance its international agenda, including the upcoming HIPTHER Warsaw Summit on October 27-28, 2026, and an ambitious roadmap for 2027-2030 aimed at connecting industries, markets, and ideas through premium learning, meaningful networking, and cross-border collaboration across Europe.
