BOYLE Sports Strengthens Sports Betting Integrity Commitment Through IBIA Membership

BOYLE Sports, the international sports betting and gaming operator, has joined the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA), reinforcing its commitment to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and consumer protection across regulated sports betting markets.

Founded in Ireland in 1982, BOYLE Sports operates an extensive retail and online betting business and holds licenses in Ireland, Great Britain, and Gibraltar. The company also maintains a strong presence within the sports industry through high-profile sponsorships, including its role as principal sponsor of West Ham United and support of major events such as the Irish Grand National, Irish Greyhound Derby, and the World Grand Prix of Darts.

As a member of IBIA, BOYLE Sports will participate in the association’s Global Monitoring & Alert Platform (Global MAP), a network connecting more than 90 operators and over 200 betting brands responsible for monitoring more than $300 billion in annual sports betting turnover.

The addition of BOYLE Sports further enhances IBIA’s global coverage across regulated markets and strengthens its ability to identify, investigate, and address suspicious betting activity through collaborative intelligence-sharing between operators, sports governing bodies, regulators, and law-enforcement agencies.

David Burgin, Trading Director at BOYLE Sports, highlighted the significance of the partnership.

“Joining IBIA reflects our commitment to maintaining a secure, transparent, and well-regulated betting environment across our operations. Integrity and responsible gambling standards remain at the core of our business, and we look forward to working alongside IBIA and its members to support initiatives aimed at protecting consumers and safeguarding sport from betting-related corruption.”

Khalid Ali, CEO of IBIA, welcomed the operator to the association and emphasized the importance of industry collaboration.

“BOYLE Sports’ decision to join IBIA demonstrates a clear commitment to investing in effective integrity and consumer protection measures. Collaboration between operators through IBIA plays a vital role in identifying, reporting, and addressing suspicious betting activity. We are delighted to welcome BOYLE Sports and look forward to working closely with the company to strengthen betting integrity worldwide.”

IBIA currently monitors more than 1.5 million sporting events annually across over 80 sports. Intelligence gathered through its operator network plays a critical role in supporting sporting, regulatory, and law-enforcement investigations into potential match-fixing and betting-related corruption.

According to the association, data provided through IBIA’s monitoring systems helped identify 54 corrupted matches during 2025, resulting in sanctions against 24 players, teams, and officials across five different sports.

With the addition of BOYLE Sports, IBIA continues to expand its global integrity network, reinforcing its position as one of the leading bodies dedicated to protecting the integrity of regulated sports betting markets worldwide.
