Greentube, the NOVOMATIC Digital Gaming and Entertainment division, has officially launched in Alberta, becoming one of the first suppliers to enter the province’s newly regulated iGaming market.
The milestone represents another significant step in the company’s North American growth strategy.
The opening of Alberta’s regulated market marks a major development for Canada’s online gaming industry. The province becomes only the second regulated jurisdiction after Ontario, officially replacing the long-standing monopoly previously operated by Play Alberta.
Greentube’s launch follows the successful completion of a comprehensive regulatory and technical approval process, with the company securing registration from the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC) to operate in the province.
The expansion further strengthens Greentube’s presence in Canada, where it has been live in Ontario since 2022, while reinforcing its commitment to growing across one of North America’s most promising regulated iGaming markets.
