Poker, Innovation, and Retention: EvenBet Gaming’s B2B Strategy in Brazil

Exclusive Content

At SBC Summit 2026, Digital Gaming News had the privilege of speaking exclusively with Eugene, Business Development Director of EvenBet Gaming for Latin America, about the potential of online poker in Brazil and the company’s B2B strategy across the region.

Online Poker: A Cultural and Market Opportunity

Eugene highlighted that Brazil is a young and promising market for online poker. “Poker has long been part of the culture here, even though it hasn’t been regulated until now. The expectation is that once legislation evolves, online poker will fully integrate into the iGaming market,” he explained. The company is already maintaining strategic contacts with local operators in preparation for when regulation allows full implementation.

Hybrid Games to Attract a Younger Audience

EvenBet Gaming is innovating with fast and engaging poker solutions for casino players and a younger audience. Eugene explained: “We’ve developed hybrid games that combine poker and casino mechanics, such as one-click poker and fixed-bet poker. These are quick, single-round games that allow players to enjoy poker without spending hours at the table.”

B2B Strategy: Retention and Cross-Selling

From a B2B perspective, Eugene emphasized that integrating poker into platforms enhances player retention. “Poker players spend a lot of time on the platform, participate in tournaments, and while playing, they can also engage with casino and sports betting. This enables a classic cross-selling strategy and increases operator revenue,” he noted.

Poker as a Competitive Differentiator

According to Eugene, adding poker to an operator’s offering—currently focused on casinos and sports betting—can become a strategic differentiator. “Retention improves, users stay longer on the site, and that is what poker can bring to the world of iGaming,” he concluded.
