iGaming Club Launches LinkedIn Live Webinar Series with Discussion on DMCA Attacks

The first educational session brought together industry experts to examine the growing impact of fraudulent copyright claims on affiliate SEO performance and business sustainability.

iGaming Club by AffPapa has successfully hosted its first-ever LinkedIn Live webinar, launching a new monthly educational series designed to bring together iGaming professionals to discuss key industry challenges, exchange knowledge, and share practical insights.

The inaugural session focused on the increasing number of DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) attacks targeting affiliate websites, exploring their impact on SEO performance, organic traffic, and long-term business growth.

Moderated by Ivana Flynn, Co-founder of DMCABOSS, the webinar featured Emma Elizabeth Byrne, Director of Publishing at Gentoo Media; Sean Bianco, Co-founder of Gain Changer; Mykhailo Kachanov, Chief Business Officer at SlotCatalog; and Daniel Lux, Managing Director & Consultant at Linxact.

Throughout the discussion, the speakers shared real-world experiences dealing with copyright claims, explained why abusive DMCA notices have become increasingly common, and provided practical guidance on how affiliates can respond to fraudulent takedown requests.

The panel also examined the broader consequences of copyright abuse, highlighting its impact on search engine rankings, organic visibility, and the long-term sustainability of affiliate businesses.

The webinar marks the beginning of a new educational initiative from iGaming Club, which plans to host one live webinar every month covering relevant topics for operators, affiliates, and other iGaming professionals. Each session will feature industry experts sharing practical advice, real-life case studies, and open discussions about the challenges shaping the market.

Kristine Nikoghosyan, Event Manager at AffPapa & iGaming Club, said:

“Our first webinar demonstrated exactly why we launched this initiative. Bringing together professionals with different perspectives created a valuable discussion with meaningful takeaways for affiliates. This is just the beginning, and we look forward to making these live webinars a regular meeting point where the industry can exchange knowledge, discuss challenges, and learn from one another every month.”

The full webinar recording is now available on YouTube for those who were unable to attend the live broadcast. Industry professionals can also follow iGaming Club on LinkedIn to stay informed about upcoming webinars and future speaker announcements.
