SOFTSWISS to bring 2027 iGaming Trends and Prediction Markets to SBC Lisbon

SOFTSWISS, a global strategic partner for the iGaming industry, will take part in SBC Lisbon, taking place from September 29 to October 1, 2026, where the company will showcase its product ecosystem, with a particular focus on the fifth edition of its 2027 iGaming Trends report and its Prediction Markets Platform.

2027 iGaming Trends: insights for shaping 2027 strategies

SOFTSWISS will unveil the fifth edition of its annual iGaming Trends report on September 29 at stand B501. The report is designed to provide operators with strategic insights into the trends that could shape the industry throughout 2027.

Produced in partnership with World Gaming (formerly Clarion), the report examines which trends reflect broader industry developments, which could support sustainable growth and which may gradually lose relevance. The aim is to help operators set priorities and identify emerging opportunities with greater confidence.

For the first time, the report will also feature perspectives from Amazon Web Services (AWS), expanding the analysis beyond traditional iGaming perspectives.

The report’s key findings will be discussed during the industry panel “2027 iGaming Trends Report | Five Years of iGaming: Which Trends Endured, Which Faded, and What Comes Next?”, taking place on September 29 from 16:10 to 16:50 at Feira Internacional de Lisboa & MEO Arena.

Olga Resiga, Chief Business Development Officer at SOFTSWISS, noted that operators are looking for practical ways to enter new markets, launch products and manage the complexity associated with regulated growth.

In this environment, SOFTSWISS aims to anticipate its clients’ needs, understand their markets and provide the technology and expertise required to support their next stages of development.

Prediction Markets: a growth opportunity for operators

Prediction Markets will also be a major focus of SOFTSWISS’ presence at SBC Lisbon. The company sees the category as a growth opportunity for operators active in regulated markets.

SOFTSWISS will feature a dedicated Sportsbook and Prediction Markets zone at stand C422, giving visitors the opportunity to explore the solutions and discuss the opportunities emerging within this category.

Anton Lishchuk, Prediction Markets Commercial Strategist at SOFTSWISS, will also take part in two sessions during the event.

On September 30 from 16:30 to 17:10, Lishchuk will join the panel “Prediction Markets: The Future’s Not Near, It’s Here”, where industry experts will discuss market drivers, regulatory responses and competitive positioning for operators.

On October 1 from 14:00 to 14:30, Lishchuk will deliver the keynote “Operators May Lose Prediction Markets Before They Enter Them” at the Prediction Markets Forum. The session will explore practical approaches to launching Prediction Markets without unnecessary operational complexity.

Throughout SBC Lisbon, visitors will be able to meet the SOFTSWISS team at the main C501 stand and the C422 stand, dedicated to Prediction Markets and Sportsbook, to discuss the 2027 iGaming Trends report, the company’s solutions and opportunities emerging across regulated markets.
