The company has been named Strategic Esports Partner of the event and will feature professional player and streamer FreeZe, giving attendees the opportunity to experience competitive gaming throughout the three-day conference.
Nordic Partners Gaming (NPG), the Malta-based esports and gaming company, has been named Strategic Esports Partner of AffPapa Conference Cancun 2026, taking place in Cancun, Mexico, from November 23 to 25.
As part of the partnership, NPG will sponsor the event’s Esports Zone, bringing competitive gaming directly into the conference’s main area. The initiative is designed to make esports an integral part of the overall AffPapa Conference experience rather than a standalone activation.
Across the three-day event, attendees will have the opportunity to take part in gaming activities and experience the competitive esports environment firsthand.
Fabian Broich, Director of Nordic Partners Gaming, highlighted the opportunity to bring esports closer to the iGaming industry:
“AffPapa Conference Cancun gives us a great opportunity to bring esports directly into an iGaming environment and create something people can enjoy firsthand. Having FreeZe involved makes the experience much more authentic. Attendees won’t just be watching from the outside; they’ll have the opportunity to participate and play alongside a professional.”
Competitive Gaming, Firsthand
Visitors to the Esports Zone will be able to sit at a gaming station and play alongside FreeZe, NPG’s professional player and streamer, who will be in Cancun throughout the conference.
The activation is designed to give attendees direct access to the esports ecosystem and the audiences NPG works with, bringing that experience from the digital environment into the physical conference space.
Positioning esports within the main event area will also create a different point of interaction for affiliates, operators and B2B companies, complementing AffPapa Conference Cancun’s programme of panels, meetings and networking opportunities.
Strengthening the Connection Between iGaming and Esports
The sponsorship follows the recent launch of Nordic Partners Gaming, an initiative created by Nordic Network Ltd to help esports organisations and gaming content creators build stronger and more sustainable commercial foundations.
At the same time, NPG aims to help licensed iGaming companies better understand gaming communities and audiences and develop more effective connections with them.
AffPapa Conference Cancun 2026 will bring together affiliates, operators and B2B companies from across the iGaming industry for three days of networking, meetings and industry discussions, with a particular focus on the Latin American market.
Yeva Avagyan, Head of Commercial at AffPapa, said:
“We’re delighted to have Nordic Partners Gaming bringing esports to AffPapa Conference Cancun. The Esports Zone will give attendees something different to take part in and, with FreeZe joining the NPG team, they’ll have the opportunity to play alongside a professional player. It’s a fun addition to the event and we’re looking forward to seeing everyone get involved.”
Through the partnership, Nordic Partners Gaming aims to strengthen the connection between esports, gaming and the iGaming industry, giving conference attendees an interactive experience that goes beyond the traditional conference format.
