Mexican gaming industry strongly supported GAT Expo CDMX 2026

Success and strong industry engagement mark the closing of the fourth edition of GAT Mexico

GAT Expo CDMX 2026 concluded with highly positive results, reinforcing its position as a leading B2B platform for business generation, professional development, and networking among key stakeholders from the gaming and entertainment industries across Mexico and Latin America.

Held on May 13 and 14 at Expo Santa Fe, the event welcomed major Mexican license holders, technology providers, C-level executives, and leading brands seeking to strengthen operations and expand their footprint within one of the region’s most strategic gaming markets. Constant activity across the exhibition floor and productive business meetings highlighted the commercial effectiveness of the event’s format.

Commercial exhibition showcased industry leadership

The official opening ceremony and ribbon-cutting marked one of the event’s most symbolic moments. José Aníbal Aguirre welcomed attendees by emphasizing the structural strength and resilience of the Mexican gaming industry.

Among the distinguished guests were Óscar Paredes Arroyo, Miguel Ángel Ochoa, Judith Barrientos, María Teresa Garduño, Jorge Rojas, Rafael Blanco, José Antonio Macías, Moisés Shemaria, David Sides, Cedric Martínez and José Carlos Figueroa.

During his speech, Aguirre stated:
“We are here to highlight the structural strength of the Mexican market: a robust and diverse ecosystem with enormous growth potential, driven by entrepreneurs who believe in the resilience and sustainability of an industry deeply rooted in Mexican culture.”

The exhibition featured prominent companies including Pragmatic Play, Aristocrat, Merkur Gaming México, Big Bola Casinos, BetConstruct, GLI, Betby, Prometeo IT and Amusnet, among others.

Innovative companies such as Oklahoma and MentorBet also stood out during the exhibition for their strategic contributions to the industry.

ALEA seminar focused on omnichannel transformation

The professional seminar organized by ALEA delivered a practical and interactive academic program aimed at executives from leading casino and gaming groups including Codere, Caliente, Dreidel, Winpot, Estadio Gana and Playtrack.

Argentinian experts Luis Zanazzi and Maximiliano Ayala led sessions focused on technological evolution, customer loyalty, operational innovation, and strategic adaptation to new market dynamics.

Participants expressed high satisfaction with the eight-hour training program and highlighted their interest in continuing education related to compliance and omnichannel strategies.

Big Bola Casinos hosted successful Opening Reception

For the second consecutive year, Big Bola Casinos supported the event by hosting the official Opening Reception at its Santa Fe venue on May 12, gathering more than 200 industry guests for an evening dedicated to networking and relationship-building.

Inspired by the FIFA World Cup 2026 theme, the reception featured live music and a freestyle football performance that created a vibrant atmosphere for attendees. The event was attended by Rafael Blanco and the executive team of Big Bola Online, led by Reinaldo Venegas.

4th Golf & Gaming Tournament officially launched

The first day of the expo concluded with an exclusive networking event at Central Central restaurant, where industry leaders strengthened partnerships and explored new investment opportunities.

The gathering also served as the official launch platform for the 4th Golf & Gaming Tournament, an initiative that combines business networking with corporate social responsibility in support of the SUMA and Criantia foundations.

Since 2025, GAT Events has actively supported this philanthropic project led by Judith Barrientos and Jorge Rojas.

At the close of the event, José Aníbal Aguirre stated that the 2026 edition confirmed the strong response of the Mexican gaming industry to an executive-focused event format designed to generate tangible business value.

With this successful edition, GAT Events reaffirmed its commitment to promoting B2B events that support growth, professionalization, business relationships, and the continued evolution of the regulated gaming industry across Latin America.
