On March 11, Totogaming Chief Marketing Officer Tereza Tokmajyan joined the iGaming Accent podcast as a guest, where she discussed her professional journey, the challenges of operating across multiple markets, and the evolving role of brands within the industry.

During the conversation, Tokmajyan shared an insight that quickly drew attention.

“I would like to share an exclusive insight: Totogaming is evolving into a broader ecosystem and undergoing an organic brand transformation.”

According to the executive, this shift reflects a deeper transformation taking place across the industry. Traditionally, most brands have focused their communication around two core themes: winning and fun. However, a third theme is now emerging.

“It’s about mastery, wisdom, knowledge, professionalism, and a deeper understanding of the game. I wouldn’t mention specific teams or companies, but many operators and brands are already moving in this direction. During this development phase, it is very important not only to focus on product and platform development or the integration of new technologies. It is also essential to maintain the relevance and momentum of brand development within the industry,” Tokmajyan explained.

Her comments quickly sparked interest, particularly given that the company has been operating in the industry for more than two decades and now appears to be preparing for significant changes.

Despite the curiosity surrounding the announcement, the CMO chose not to disclose further details about the transformation.

“I’m not going to reveal the details yet, but I can say that this is a very big transformation that we are currently going through. It will happen this year, and you will definitely hear about us in the industry,” she added.

What is becoming increasingly clear is that the perception of the industry itself is changing. Today, it is no longer only about betting or online casino.

The combination of new functionalities, gamification, and personalized experiences is pushing the sector toward a new stage where iGaming is increasingly recognized as a true form of digital entertainment.
