CGS Events, in collaboration with the International Gaming Standards Association (IGSA), is pleased to announce that Mike Dreitzer, Chairman of the Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB), will be a featured keynote speaker at the upcoming Gaming Standards Association Technical Summit (GSATS) 2025.
The event will take place on November 12–13 at Harrah’s Ak-Chin Resort & Casino in Phoenix, marking the second consecutive edition of this educational conference organized by CGS Events for IGSA.
Appointed by Governor Joe Lombardo in June 2025, Dreitzer brings more than 25 years of experience in the gaming industry, with an extensive background in regulatory law, institutional leadership, and executive roles in both the public and private sectors. His career and expertise position him as a leading voice on innovation and regulation in one of the world’s most influential gaming jurisdictions.
As the new head of the NGCB, Dreitzer has made it his mission to modernize processes, enhance transparency, and ensure efficient oversight. His vision focuses strongly on how technology and innovation can drive sustainable growth in Nevada’s gaming market. At GSATS 2025, he will share his strategic priorities and forward-looking perspectives for the industry.
For CGS Events CEO Elizabeth Leiva, Dreitzer’s participation is a strong endorsement of the event’s value:
“Having Chairman Dreitzer with us at GSATS is an honor and a clear testament to the growing importance of collaboration between regulators and technology providers. We are truly grateful he accepted our invitation.”
IGSA President Mark Pace added:

“I thank Elizabeth and her team for making GSATS a must-attend event. I am confident that Chairman Dreitzer’s knowledge and expertise will be invaluable as we work to integrate new technologies into a highly regulated industry. His participation reinforces our mission to develop standards and best practices that strengthen the sector.”
Before assuming his current role, Dreitzer served as CEO of Gaming Arts, an emerging supplier of gaming equipment, and held executive positions at Ainsworth Game Technology, BMM Testlabs, and Progressive Gaming. He began his legal career as Deputy Attorney General for the State of Nevada, representing both the NGCB and the Nevada Gaming Commission.
Dreitzer holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Cornell University and a Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law. He has lived in Nevada for over three decades with his wife and two children, maintaining a strong commitment to the development and integrity of the gaming industry.
