The leading trade show continues its 2025 tour with two key stops in the second half of the year
Gaming & Technology Expo (GAT Expo), Latin America’s premier business platform for the gaming industry, is set to hold two major events in the coming months: GAT Expo Mexico, taking place August 27–28 in Mexico City, and GAT Expo Bogotá, scheduled for September 25 in the Colombian capital.
With these two strategic locations, GAT Expo reinforces its mission to support industry growth across the region by creating professional spaces for education, networking, and commercial development tailored to the evolving needs of each market.
First Edition of GAT Expo in Mexico City
GAT Expo CDMX will debut at Expo Santa Fe, a modern venue located in one of the city’s most prominent business districts. This new stop comes at a pivotal time for the Mexican market, which is seeing increasing digitalization, regulatory reform, and significant investment potential.
The event will feature several key components. On August 27, the GAT Academy CDMX will offer a full day of conferences and panels focused on regulatory updates, cutting-edge technology, cybersecurity, and the future of the industry—including preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
On August 28, attendees can take part in specialized workshops split into two stages. Stage 1 will cover topics such as digital payments, cryptocurrencies, Esports betting, instant messaging-based gaming, and platform readiness. Stage 2 will focus on land-based operations, casino design, omnichannel integration, new customer loyalty strategies, and responsible gambling initiatives.
That same day will also feature the Latin American Summit of Gambling Associations, led by Fecoljuegos and AIEJA, and including participants from Mexico, Colombia, Peru, and the Dominican Republic. The summit will lay the groundwork for the creation of the Latin American Network of Gambling Associations (Relazar), a regional initiative for cooperation, regulatory harmonization, and the promotion of legal, responsible gaming.
The trade show floor, open on August 28, will showcase leading brands from land-based and online gaming, technology providers, payment solutions, cybersecurity firms, and more, offering excellent networking opportunities and commercial prospects.
GAT Expo Bogotá: A Strategic Hub for the Colombian Market
Scheduled for September 25, GAT Expo Bogotá stands as a key business event for Colombia’s gaming sector in the final quarter of the year. The one-day show will gather operators, suppliers, and executives for eight hours of high-level networking, product showcases, and deal-making.
The previous edition featured 25 exhibiting brands and executives from over 25 countries. For 2025, an expanded presence is expected from companies across land-based gaming, online betting, tech platforms, and specialized services.
Additionally, Bogotá will host the first stop of the GAT Esports Tournament, part of a strategic alliance between GAT Esports, the Colombian Official Esports organization, and the Colombian Olympic Committee, which was formalized during GAT Expo Cartagena this past April.
Growing the GAT Tour
José Aníbal Aguirre, CEO of GAT Expo, encouraged the industry to participate in the upcoming events:
“We are committed to reinforcing our role as a unifying force in the Latin American gaming industry. In Mexico, we aim to bring together suppliers, manufacturers, licensees, and operators from both land-based and online sectors to foster legal gaming and shared goals for commercial and social development. We are also proud to welcome Raza Carreras from the Dominican Republic as a Platinum Sponsor, reflecting growing interest in virtual sports and race betting supported by Coljuegos for the retail segment.”
