The Gaming in Spain Conference, scheduled to take place on June 26 in Madrid, has added several new speakers to its agenda.
Regis Dudena, Secretary of Prizes and Bets at Brazil’s Ministry of Finance (participating via video link), and Ewa Bakun, Director of Industry Insight and Engagement at Clarion Gaming, are among the latest additions to the speaker lineup.
Dudena and Bakun will join an already impressive roster of speakers that includes Mikel Arana, Director General of the DGOJ; Xavi Muñoz, Partner at ECIJA Law Firm; Jorge Hinojosa, Director General of Jdigital; Ester Martin-Ortega, Head of Public Affairs and Sustainability at Flutter Entertainment; and Ed Birkin, Managing Director at H2 Gambling Capital.
Additionally, the conference is pleased to welcome Dr. Andreas Ditsche, CEO of affiliate network iGaming.com, who will present an in-depth analysis of the search behavior and preferences of Spanish iGaming players.
Willem van Oort, Founder of Gaming in Spain, stated:
“We are extremely pleased with this year’s speaker lineup. Conference attendees will hear directly from both the Spanish and Brazilian regulators, as well as other key decision-makers in the industry. Considering the growing relevance of several Latin American markets, we thought it was timely to expand our perspective beyond Spain this year. Nevertheless, the event remains primarily focused on Spain’s regulated iGaming market, and if your organization is active in this space — either as an operator or service provider — this event is not to be missed.”
Breakout Sessions and Networking Opportunities
In addition to the main program, the Gaming in Spain Conference will feature several hands-on breakout sessions and three certificate-awarding workshops, generously offered by Chevron Consultants. These workshops will cover topics including internal audits and the EU’s AI Act, GDPR website compliance checks, and how to build a learning culture within organizations.
The workshops will take place on June 25, the day before the main conference, and are free to attend for registered conference participants.
Furthermore, the event will offer ample networking opportunities during coffee breaks, lunch, and the post-event drinks reception.
Finally, all Gaming in Spain Conference attendees are warmly invited to the Jdigital Awards ceremony, also on June 26, which honors outstanding contributions to the development of Spain’s regulated online gambling market.
