The update introduces crypto-focused Up or Down markets, new live and historical data widgets, and API access to simplify deployment for operators.
DATA.BET has expanded its Prediction Markets offering, originally launched in April 2026, with a major update designed to make the vertical faster to trade and easier for operators to deploy.
The release introduces Up or Down, a new market format focused on cryptocurrencies, alongside live and historical data widgets for the Crypto and Finance categories. DATA.BET has also added API integration, complementing the iFrame deployment option previously available.
Short-cycle markets for crypto
The Up or Down format allows users to bet on whether an asset’s price will move above or below a predefined target. Each market opens with a price to beat and offers standard decimal odds across five settlement horizons: 5 minutes, 15 minutes, 1 hour, 4 hours and daily.
Short-cycle markets can therefore settle within minutes, creating a more frequent betting rhythm alongside longer-term Prediction Markets covering political and economic events.
For operators, the model creates additional betting opportunities within a single session without relying on the sports calendar.
More data before placing a bet
The update also introduces dedicated widgets providing additional market information. For Up or Down markets, users can view the live asset price, see the target line plotted on a chart and follow a countdown to settlement.
The Crypto and Finance categories now provide live and historical data covering assets including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), gold and oil.
Probability history widgets have also been extended across all categories, with 1-day, 1-week, 1-month and all-time views. Volume figures and market resolution conditions are also displayed before each market opens, providing additional context for users.
API integration
From a technology perspective, Prediction Markets can now be accessed through an API, in addition to the previously announced iFrame deployment.
Operators already connected to DATA.BET can enable the offering using their existing odds feed credentials and Sport Events API, without requiring a separate integration project.
The release also includes broader system optimisation, content management improvements and continued development of the liquidity module, supporting greater market stability and faster turnaround as the vertical scales.
“Prediction Markets was built to give operators a fast-moving, always-on offering that runs independently of the sports calendar,” said Rostyslav Likhtin, Head of Product at DATA.BET.
He added that the company is focused on making the vertical “faster to trade, easier to read, and easier to deploy”, describing the latest release as an initial step in the continued development of the product.
