The prediction markets platform was recognised in Mexico City just months after its launch, having already surpassed 50 projects in its pipeline.
SOFTSWISS has received the Industry Innovator award for its Prediction Markets platform at the SiGMA North America Awards 2026 in Mexico City.
The recognition comes as the company continues to expand its offering for regulated markets, combining new product capabilities with the infrastructure and operational support required to support operators as they scale.
Launched in April 2026, SOFTSWISS Prediction Markets enables operators to add event-based wagering to their existing offerings. The platform uses a fixed-odds model and can be deployed as a standalone solution or integrated into a sportsbook through API or iFrame.
The award marks the platform’s second major industry recognition in a short period. Less than two months after its launch, Prediction Markets won the Best Next-Gen Betting Product category at the SiGMA Asia Awards 2026.
The platform has since surpassed 50 projects in its pipeline and currently supports more than 10 event categories. Existing SOFTSWISS partners can launch the solution within two to three days, while new operators can go live in approximately three weeks.
SOFTSWISS’ risk team can also manage markets on behalf of operators that do not have an in-house trading function.
Alexander Kamenetskyi, Head of Operations at SOFTSWISS Sportsbook, commented: “We built Prediction Markets with a clear focus on making a new product category practical for operators. Innovation only creates value when it can work reliably within an operator’s existing business and meet the expectations of regulated markets. Receiving recognition at such an early stage of the product lifecycle is an important signal that we are moving in the right direction. It is particularly meaningful as SOFTSWISS continues to strengthen its position in regulated markets and support operators expanding within them.”
Beyond traditional sports betting, Prediction Markets is designed to appeal to player segments whose interest is driven by real-world events. The platform covers areas including politics, economics, technology and culture, creating additional entry points for users who may not typically engage with conventional sportsbook products.
For operators, the model provides an opportunity to broaden their offering while maintaining a familiar operational framework.
Mexico becomes a key focus for regional growth
Mexico has become an important market within SOFTSWISS’ regional expansion plans. The company already supports licensed gaming brands in the country with a compliant iGaming setup, alongside 24/7 technical and client support.
SOFTSWISS’ presence at SiGMA North America 2026 forms part of a broader regional strategy focused on combining technology with local market knowledge and long-term relationships with operators.
