GAT Expo Cartagena 2026 concludes with strong results and high industry satisfaction

GAT Expo Cartagena 2026 wrapped up on a highly positive note, reinforcing its position as a key business platform for the gaming industry in Latin America. The event brought together participants from 45 countries, welcomed more than 2,500 attendees, and generated an active commercial environment with ongoing deals, direct transactions, and new strategic partnerships.

Throughout the exhibition days, held on March 25th and 26th, the Las Américas Convention Center operated at full capacity. Manufacturers, operators, technology providers, and online platforms carried out intensive business agendas in a results-driven environment.

Activity across the exhibition floor was marked by concrete purchasing decisions. Several exhibiting companies reported immediate sales and advanced negotiations, reaffirming the event’s role as a true business hub in the region. Among the highlights, Win Systems reported the sale of 20 roulettes valued at over $4 million. Cristina Quintero, the company’s representative, shared her enthusiasm: “I’m very happy with the results. GAT Cartagena allows us to close high-value deals in a very dynamic environment.”

Meanwhile, payment platform TumiPay, participating as an exhibitor for the first time, highlighted the positive outcomes achieved and confirmed its intention to join the GAT circuit in upcoming stops this year.

The exhibition hall stood out for its high-quality setup and creative product presentations, showcasing a comprehensive ecosystem that includes innovations in land-based and online gaming, payment solutions, gamification, data analytics, and operational optimization tools.

The event kicked off with a full-capacity conference program attended by more than 300 participants. Coordinated by FECOLJUEGOS, the agenda addressed key topics such as regulation, regional economics, and technological transformation.

Víctor Arias, Vice President for Latin America at Arrise powering Pragmatic Play, praised the quality of the sessions and the high level of speakers, emphasizing the importance of this forum as a knowledge hub for the industry in the region.

The presence of national and international associations reinforced the event’s integrative nature. Colombian trade bodies shared the stage with organizations such as AIEJA (Mexico), ALEA (Argentina), APOJA (Paraguay), and SONAJA (Peru), alongside delegations from lotteries and public institutions. This broad participation fostered meaningful dialogue on industry challenges and opportunities, positioning GAT as a key meeting point for public and private stakeholders.

Additionally, the annual assemblies of FECOLJUEGOS and CORNAZAR were held, addressing strategic sector issues and reaffirming the role of industry associations as key counterparts to the national government.

Coljuegos also played an active role, engaging with operators and providers at its stand, offering regulatory guidance and strengthening direct dialogue between the public and private sectors.

Technology played a significant role as well, with exhibitors and sponsors actively using the official networking app integrated with the registration platform, enabling efficient meeting scheduling and direct connections between buyers and suppliers.

Beyond the academic and exhibition areas, networking spaces fostered meaningful connections in a more relaxed environment. One of the most memorable moments took place at Las Terrazas del Claustro at the Getsemaní Convention Center, sponsored by BetPlay, where attendees enjoyed a vibrant Caribbean atmosphere with live salsa music and a DJ.

José Aníbal Aguirre, CEO of GAT Events, stated:
“The results of this edition confirm that the industry is in motion. Cartagena is a place where business happens and real opportunities emerge.”

Following this successful edition, GAT Events will continue its 2026 circuit with upcoming stops in Mexico City, São Paulo, San Juan, Bogotá, and Santo Domingo, further strengthening its position as a leading B2B platform for the development of the regulated gaming industry in Latin America and the Caribbean.
