Academy, exhibition and business opportunities across three days of high-impact networking
Cartagena de Indias is set to host a new edition of GAT Expo, firmly established as one of the most influential platforms for the gaming industry in Latin America. From March 24 to 26, the Centro de Convenciones Las Américas will bring together industry leaders, operators and suppliers shaping the future of the sector across the region.
Now in its 27th edition, the event reinforces its position as the number one exhibition focused on the land-based ecosystem, while expanding its reach into the digital space with cutting-edge online betting technologies. This year, GAT Expo Cartagena stands out for its international scope, with more than 2,500 C-level executives from across Latin America already confirmed to attend.
Participants will gain access to a diverse portfolio of suppliers and distributors showcasing innovations in equipment, products and services, ranging from large-scale casinos to smaller gaming venues and online platforms. The event serves as a key hub for technological upgrades, business development and strategic partnerships.
The three-day agenda has been designed to maximize networking, knowledge exchange and commercial opportunities. On March 24, the focus will be on academic content through Academia GAT, led by Fecoljuegos and its President, Evert Montero. Industry experts, regulators and stakeholders will discuss key topics such as regulation, technological innovation and market outlook. The day will conclude with the traditional catamaran networking session, offering a relaxed environment for relationship building.
On March 25, the commercial agenda will begin following the annual assemblies of key industry associations such as Cornazar and Fecoljuegos. The exhibition floor will officially open in the afternoon, featuring a wide range of technological solutions for both land-based and online gaming sectors. The day will wrap up with the “Welcome & Connect” event, designed to further strengthen connections in a more informal setting in Cartagena’s historic center.
The event will conclude on March 26 with a second exhibition day focused on follow-up meetings and closing business deals initiated during the previous sessions.
José Aníbal Aguirre, CEO of GAT Events, highlighted the event’s continued growth: “GAT Expo Cartagena represents one of the strongest outcomes of this collective effort. The trust of the industry has allowed us to expand and position ourselves as a circuit spanning South America, the Caribbean and North America. We will also have extensive coverage from national and international media, while GAT Magazine captures the key moments of each day with a professional audiovisual team.”
The 2026 edition will feature the participation of leading regulators, associations, specialized law firms and major industry companies, further reinforcing GAT Expo Cartagena’s role as a strategic hub for the growth of the gaming industry in Latin America.
