AffPapa has officially announced that the iconic Suspenso has been selected as the venue for the highly anticipated iGaming Club Lisbon 2025, scheduled to take place on September 16.
In just a few months, iGaming Club will return to Lisbon for its second edition in Portugal, bringing together more than 700 industry professionals, including 40% affiliates, 40% operators, and 20% B2B providers.
Suspenso, the chosen venue, is located in the heart of Lisbon’s historic Alfama district, right next to the famous São Jorge Castle. Its central location offers a spectacular view of the Tagus River and immediate access to the charm and character of the city’s old town.

Suspenso is a venue with deep historical roots. Built during the Arab conquest of Lisbon, the structure has withstood earthquakes, fires, and decades of abandonment. It was later transformed into the well-known Santiago Alquimista café-theatre. In 2020, it was reborn as Suspenso Venue, a striking and versatile industrial-style space ideal for hosting all kinds of events.
The venue offers over 900 square meters of event space, featuring several key areas:
- Suspenso Room – A beautiful 19th-century hall, perfect for conferences, main events, and dinners.
- Jardim Room – A bright, open space with direct access to an outdoor garden, ideal for relaxed networking and cocktail receptions.
