GAT México Joins the 4th Golf & Gaming Tournament for the Second Time

The event will take place on Thursday, August 27, at Paraíso Country Club in Morelos, bringing together executives and professionals from Mexico’s gaming industry around sport, networking, and two social causes supporting children and adolescents.

GAT Events announces its participation as a sponsor of the 4th Golf & Gaming Tournament, taking place on August 27 at Paraíso Country Club in Morelos. The event will bring together representatives of Mexico’s gaming industry for a day focused on golf, networking, industry connections, and corporate social responsibility (CSR).

For the second consecutive time, GAT Events is supporting the initiative, reaffirming its commitment to creating spaces that not only strengthen relationships among industry stakeholders but also contribute to causes with a positive social impact. Donations raised through the tournament will support the work of Centro SUMA and Fundación Criantia, two organisations that develop programmes for children, adolescents, and their families.

Centro SUMA provides medical, physical, and psychological care, as well as treatments, surgeries, and therapies for children and adolescents with cleft lip and palate conditions who are experiencing social vulnerability. Meanwhile, Fundación Criantia works to transform parenting practices towards models based on love and family unity, promoting children’s socio-emotional development while supporting parents, caregivers, and educational professionals.

An Industry Coming Together to Make a Difference

The 4th Golf & Gaming Tournament will bring together leaders, operators, and suppliers from the gaming sector, who will make personal and/or corporate donations to support these organisations and their social initiatives.

Alexandra Hernández, Commercial Director at GAT, will represent GAT Events at the event, joining members of Mexico’s gaming industry in support of this important cause.

“It is very important for GAT Events to support this initiative once again. The gaming industry has the ability to create value not only through business and corporate development, but also by supporting causes that have a direct impact on communities. This tournament allows us to contribute to the work of Centro SUMA and Fundación Criantia in transforming lives, and we are therefore grateful to the organisers for the opportunity to be part of the Golf & Gaming Tournament,” said José Aníbal Aguirre, CEO of GAT México.

GAT Events’ participation is also part of a special partnership the company is developing with Centro SUMA to help promote and raise awareness of its work, increasing the visibility of its programmes and creating opportunities to connect companies and leaders from the Latin American gaming industry with the social causes supported by the organisation.

Looking ahead to the remainder of 2026 and into 2027, GAT Events has identified strengthening its corporate social responsibility commitment in each jurisdiction where it operates as one of its key objectives. Through this approach, GAT aims for its presence in different markets to go beyond the business sphere and contribute to the wellbeing and development of the communities connected to each territory.

GAT Events is also advancing preparations for the next edition of GAT Expo México, scheduled to take place in June 2027. The event will bring together Mexico’s local and international gaming industry in Mexico City, with the participation of leading slot machine manufacturers, operators, technology providers, and specialised companies showcasing their latest solutions and innovations for the Mexican and Latin American markets.
