Genius Sports Limited (NYSE: GENI) has secured the exclusive official betting data rights for a select group of competitions within the European Leagues Association. As part of this multi-year agreement, Genius Sports will also deploy its GeniusIQ platform across European football.
The partnership includes 18 member leagues of the European Leagues Association and covers over 8,000 matches across 46 professional football competitions in Europe, spanning both men’s and women’s tournaments.
Leveraging its leadership in sports technology, Genius Sports has acquired the exclusive rights to capture and distribute official betting data for all these competitions to its global network of regulated sportsbook partners.
The agreement also involves the rollout of Genius Sports’ ground-breaking tracking technology and AI-driven GeniusIQ platform, which will power a suite of tools focused on team performance analysis, officiating accuracy, and fan engagement across European football.
This collaboration highlights the ongoing transformation of the sports data rights market, driven by technological advancements.
