SOFTSWISS Group CSO wins Top Global CISOs Awards 2026

Evgeny Zaretskov receives another international cybersecurity recognition, following his inclusion in the 2026 HotTopics Global CISO 100 list.

Evgeny Zaretskov, Group Chief Security Officer at SOFTSWISS, has been named a winner of the Top Global CISOs Awards 2026, presented by Cyber Defense Magazine. This marks his second international cybersecurity recognition this year, following his inclusion in the 2026 HotTopics Global CISO 100 list.

Selected from thousands of cybersecurity professionals, Zaretskov was recognised for his ability to communicate risks to executive teams, prevent security breaches and data loss, meet regulatory requirements, and develop risk management programmes with measurable results.

The award is part of the 14th annual Cyber Defense Awards, which recognise professionals and organisations making significant contributions to cybersecurity.

According to Gary Miliefsky, publisher of Cyber Defense Magazine, the winners will be announced at CyberDefenseCon 2026 on 20 October.

At SOFTSWISS, Zaretskov leads cybersecurity across the company’s global technology ecosystem, which supports more than 1,500 brands.

“Security is the foundation of reliability, innovation, and sustainable growth. This recognition reflects the work of our entire team and our commitment to making security an integral part of the technology we build,” said Zaretskov.

The recognition also highlights the growing importance of cybersecurity and compliance in the iGaming industry, where technology reliability and risk management are increasingly relevant when choosing a technology partner.

The SOFTSWISS iGaming Trends Report 2027 explores these developments, including how compliance is becoming embedded in product architecture and how reliability influences technology partner selection.
