HIPTHER launches dedicated AI and cybersecurity summit in Prague with €40,000 startup investment

HIPTHER has announced the launch of HIPTHER AI Summit 2027, a new international conference dedicated exclusively to artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, taking place on 25 March 2027 at OREA Hotel Andels Praha in Prague, Czech Republic.

The event will form the third day of HIPTHER Prague Week, following the HIPTHER Prague Summit on 23–24 March. The new summit will feature two main stages, four practical HIPTHER Academy courses and a startup competition offering a €40,000 investment to the overall winner.

AI and cybersecurity take centre stage

With a programme focused exclusively on artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, the summit will bring together technology founders, developers, researchers, CTOs, CISOs, investors, cybersecurity professionals, policymakers and other industry specialists.

Topics will include generative AI and large language models (LLMs), AI agents, AI-native software development, automation, enterprise adoption, technology infrastructure, threat intelligence, fraud detection and anti-money laundering. The programme will also explore ransomware, incident response, Zero Trust, AI regulation, the EU AI Act and cybersecurity in regulated industries.

The event aims to bring AI development and practical deployment into the same conversation as the security, governance and regulatory challenges associated with these technologies.

The summit will run across three parallel environments:

  • Stage 1: AI & Cybersecurity. The main conference stage will host keynotes, panels, presentations, regulatory discussions, case studies and technical and strategic sessions.
  • HIPTHER AI & Cybersecurity Startup Challenge. A competition giving emerging startups the opportunity to present their solutions to investors, experts and industry representatives.
  • HIPTHER Academy. A dedicated learning space offering four practical courses led by experienced professionals. Places will be limited, with course topics and enrolment details announced separately.

Startup Challenge offers €40,000 investment

A central feature of the event will be the inaugural HIPTHER AI & Cybersecurity Startup Challenge 2027, designed to identify and accelerate early-stage AI and cybersecurity companies from Europe and beyond.

The competition will include eligibility checks and jury evaluation, online semifinals and a live final in Prague, where eight startups will pitch to an expert jury. Evaluation will consider the technology, business case, market opportunity, team and founders’ ability to defend their vision.

The planned competition timeline is:

  • 16 November 2026 to 31 January 2027: Applications open.
  • February 2027: Eligibility review and jury evaluation, followed by the announcement of the Top 20.
  • March 2027: Online semifinals.
  • 25 March 2027: Live pitches by the final eight startups at HIPTHER AI Summit.
  • Main prize: A €40,000 investment for the overall winner.

The full investment structure, eligibility requirements, evaluation framework and official competition rules will be published when applications open.

Beyond the potential funding, participating startups will have opportunities to gain visibility, receive industry feedback and connect with investors, potential partners and customers.

HIPTHER Prague Week expands to three days

Zoltan Tündik, HIPTHER’s Co-Founder and Head of Business, said the summit reflects how the AI conversation has moved beyond theoretical potential towards real-world deployment, governance and security.

“We built the HIPTHER AI Summit to cut through the noise and create a focused space where the builders, security experts, and innovators shaping this next era can connect directly with investors and industry leaders,” Tündik said.

He added that combining a focused programme with the startup competition would give founders a platform and access to capital to help scale their businesses.

With the new event, HIPTHER Prague Week will expand to three days. The HIPTHER Prague Summit will continue to bring together representatives from gaming, fintech, payments, regulation, compliance, technology and business on 23–24 March 2027. The following day will be dedicated to AI and cybersecurity.
