The latest slot in the Big Bass series brings a Halloween theme, bonus-round modifiers and win multipliers of up to 1,000x.
Pragmatic Play is expanding its popular fishing franchise with the release of Big Bass Halloween Splash 1000, a slot that combines Halloween-inspired visuals with new mechanics for its free spins feature.
The game retains the familiar formula of the series while introducing additional features that can change how the bonus round unfolds and add variety to gameplay.
Pumpkins, free spins and bonus modifiers
The free spins feature is triggered by landing three, four or five scatter symbols in the base game, awarding 10, 15 or 20 free spins, respectively. Landing two scatters gives players a random chance of additional scatters appearing to activate the feature.
Before the bonus round begins, players can choose from six pumpkins to reveal modifiers. These can add wild symbols, money symbols or free spins, start the round at the second multiplier level, or increase the chance of random features being triggered.
During the feature, fisherman wilds collect the values of fish money symbols landing on the same spin. These symbols can carry values of up to 1,000x.
Every fourth fisherman also retriggers the feature, awarding 10 additional free spins. The win multiplier increases with each retrigger, reaching 2x on the first, 3x on the second and 10x on the third and final retrigger.
The game also includes random features that can add fishermen or fish to the reels when the two symbols do not land together. Pumpkin symbols may also appear on the fifth reel during the bonus round, activating additional modifiers that remain in effect for the rest of the feature.
A new addition to the Big Bass franchise
Big Bass Halloween Splash 1000 joins Pragmatic Play’s slot portfolio with a seasonal theme that combines familiar franchise elements with modifiers, escalating multipliers and special Halloween-inspired bonus features.
Sharon McHugh, Director of Public Relations at Pragmatic Play, highlighted the new options available to influence the bonus round.
“Big Bass Halloween Splash 1000 puts a supercharged spooky spin on our much-loved fishing franchise, introducing a new selection of modifiers that give players greater influence over how the bonus game unfolds. From the pumpkin selection at the start of the feature to the additional upgrades that can appear during play, there is plenty of variety packed into this latest seasonal instalment,” she said.
With this release, Pragmatic Play adds another seasonal title to one of its best-known slot franchises.
