Renzo Escalante Receives The Bizz Award Projects 2026 for NEUROSAFE iGAMING

The CEO of Clases Play, Play Advisors and Magic Touch Consulting was recognised in the Consulting Projects category for an initiative combining neuroscience, artificial intelligence and behavioural analysis in iGaming.

After more than two decades of experience in the gaming and iGaming industry across Latin America, Renzo Escalante has added a new recognition to his professional career. The CEO of Clases Play, Play Advisors and Magic Touch Consulting was honoured with the The Bizz Award Projects 2026 in the Consulting Projects category during a ceremony held on 26 August 2026 at the Université de Montréal (UdeM), Canada.

The award recognised NEUROSAFE iGAMING, a project that seeks to bring together neuroscience, artificial intelligence and behavioural analysis within specialised iGaming consulting.

The initiative starts with a question that is becoming increasingly relevant as the industry continues to evolve from traditional casinos and gaming halls to today’s digital environments: how can data and technology be used not only to understand how a person plays, but also to identify changes in their behaviour and support earlier preventive action?

From data to player behaviour

For years, the gaming industry has used data to understand how much, when and how a person plays. NEUROSAFE iGAMING proposes moving towards a deeper understanding of changes in players’ usual behavioural patterns.

The initiative seeks to transform these variations into signals that can help activate tools related to Responsible Gaming and player loyalty, with the aim of strengthening player control and autonomy while supporting a healthier and more sustainable relationship with entertainment.

Rather than focusing solely on retaining players within the gaming ecosystem, the project proposes using behavioural insights to develop mechanisms for early prevention and intervention, exploring how technology can also play a role in supporting player wellbeing.

The proposal brings together three areas that have traditionally developed separately: industry experience, behavioural science and technology.

For Escalante, the future of the sector is not only about developing faster platforms, more attractive products or increasingly sophisticated systems. It is also about using technological capabilities to better understand people.

“The gaming industry has learned a great deal about technology and data. Now we have the opportunity to learn much more about people. The real challenge is using that knowledge so that innovation also means responsibility and a genuine relationship with the player. For this reason, it is necessary to remain constantly prepared professionally and ensure that the day-to-day of the industry does not end up automating us,” Escalante said.

A career shaped by an evolving industry

The recognition comes after more than 20 years of experience in a sector that has undergone significant transformation. Escalante’s career has followed the industry’s evolution from traditional gaming formats to the growth of iGaming, the adoption of data and artificial intelligence, and new ways for operators and players to interact.

In this context, The Bizz Award Projects 2026 recognises not only a consulting initiative, but also a professional career developed within an industry undergoing continuous change.

The award is presented by the World Confederation of Businesses, an organisation focused on recognising and promoting business excellence, good practices, leadership, innovation and organisational development at an international level.
