Backseat Gaming to Bring Expanded Team to SBC Summit Lisbon 2026

The independent studio will make its first industry appearance since launching as a fully independent company, supported by an expanded team and its own Remote Gaming Server (RGS).

Backseat Gaming is preparing to attend SBC Summit Lisbon 2026, marking the studio’s first industry event since announcing its launch as a fully independent developer with its own Remote Gaming Server (RGS).

The company will be represented in Lisbon by a delegation including Debbie Cooper, Head of Commercial Operations, alongside new team members Kristina Hambardzumyan, Head of Business Development; Graeme Savill, Head of Business Development, Emerging Markets; and Kristeena Haidon, Senior Account Manager.

The event will give Backseat Gaming an opportunity to showcase its development as an independent studio and present its player-led content strategy to a global audience. The company currently releases one new game every week and has built a portfolio featuring titles such as Born in Hell, Toad Town and Totem Tower Bonanza.

For the team, SBC Summit Lisbon will also provide an opportunity to strengthen relationships with operators and partners face-to-face as the studio continues to build on its recent progress and expand its presence as an independent company.

Debbie Cooper, Head of Commercial Operations at Backseat Gaming, highlighted the flexibility that independence provides when responding to partner requirements and developing content aligned with player preferences.

“This strategy allows us to respond quickly to partner needs and deliver the kind of games players genuinely want to engage with.”

Cooper also noted that Backseat Gaming has welcomed several experienced professionals to the team in recent months and said she looks forward to attending SBC Summit Lisbon with them to meet existing partners, establish new connections and showcase what the studio has to offer.
