The inaugural SOFTSWISS-organised event featured more than 40 speakers and representatives from technology and iGaming companies discussing AI, infrastructure, cybersecurity and high-load systems.
The inaugural Tech Race Summit 2026, organised by SOFTSWISS, brought around 1,500 technology and iGaming professionals together in Warsaw on September 10 to explore technology challenges shared across high-load industries.
The sold-out event featured representatives from more than 25 iGaming companies, over 40 speakers and 17 partners, across three stages: Vision, Solution and Experiment.
The programme covered artificial intelligence, infrastructure, cybersecurity, product development, observability, performance marketing and high-load systems, bringing together expertise from both the iGaming sector and global technology companies.
Lessons from Tesla, Shazam and iGaming
The summit aimed to connect technology challenges in iGaming with experiences and solutions developed across other industries.
Javier Verdura, Global Director of Product Design at Tesla, shared his experience of building high-performance teams and strengthening ownership and accountability in “Building High-Performance Teams: Lessons from Tesla.”
Dhiraj Mukherjee, Co-Founder of Shazam, explored leadership during major technological shifts in “From Shazam to Generative AI: Why the Biggest Technology Shifts Always Look Impossible.”
From the iGaming sector, Igor Borzunov, CTO at Maincard, presented an autonomous AI operations agent designed to reduce incident response time to 30 seconds.
Meanwhile, Alexander Krivetsky, CTO at BGaming, presented the development of an AI-powered fraud detection system that moved from concept to production in three months, covering data preparation, model training and integration.
Technology companies including AWS, Oracle, Cloudflare, Google, Gcore, Fastly, ScyllaDB and Coralogix also contributed sessions covering production AI, infrastructure, security, performance and real-time systems.
SOFTSWISS showcases AI-assisted development
SOFTSWISS also used the summit to demonstrate how it is applying artificial intelligence within its own software development processes.
During “From Idea to Verified Change: Rethinking the SDLC with AI,” Illia Slepau, Software Architect at SOFTSWISS, presented an internally developed Orchestrator designed to coordinate AI agents throughout the development process while keeping validation and approval with human teams.
The approach is intended to reduce the coordination workload associated with AI-generated development tasks while maintaining human oversight of code quality and shortening the path from an initial idea to a verified software change.
Sergey Kastsukevich, CTO at SOFTSWISS, highlighted the conversations taking place beyond the main stages.
“What was especially rewarding was seeing how many conversations continued between the sessions,” Kastsukevich said.
Tech Race Summit to return to Warsaw in 2027
Tech Race Summit was created to give technology a more prominent role within the iGaming event calendar, which often focuses on commercial growth and regulation.
Following its sold-out inaugural edition, Tech Race Summit will return to Warsaw in 2027, continuing its focus on connecting iGaming expertise with technology specialists working across AI, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, high-load systems and global digital products.
