The AGCO registration enables the company to supply its exclusive esports and sports content to licensed operators across the province.
BETER has taken a new step in its international expansion after securing Gaming-Related Supplier Registration from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO), marking the company’s entry into the Canadian market.
The registration enables Ontario-licensed operators to access BETER’s live streams, real-time data and odds across its exclusive portfolio of fast-paced esports and sports content.
The offering includes ESportsBattle eLeagues, the Setka Cup table tennis series and the BSKT Cup basketball league.
Ontario strengthens BETER’s North American expansion
The move into Ontario represents another milestone in BETER’s broader North American growth strategy. The company currently holds ten regulatory approvals across the United States and is also pursuing approval in Alberta, which it expects could become its second Canadian province.
BETER provides 24/7 live streaming, real-time data and odds across more than 740,000 events annually, with up to 50 markets available per event. According to the company, its content generates an average operator margin of more than 8%.
Its esports portfolio includes ESportsBattle, covering eFootball, eBasketball, eHockey and eTennis, while its sports offering includes the Setka Cup table tennis series and BSKT Cup basketball league.
Integrity at the core of the offering
BETER’s exclusive content is supported by a dedicated Integrity team, which provides 24/7 monitoring and works with organisations including IBIA and ESIC, as well as sports federations, to uphold fair-play standards across its events.
Gal Ehrlich, CEO of BETER, highlighted Ontario’s importance to the company’s North American strategy.
“Ontario is an important step in building BETER’s North American business and a significant part of our global growth strategy,” Ehrlich said.
Valeriia Tarchynska, Chief Legal Officer at BETER, said the Ontario registration reflects the company’s commitment to maintaining high regulatory and compliance standards across its markets.
She added that BETER will remain focused on sustainable growth, strong regulatory relationships and maintaining the trust of its partners and stakeholders as it continues expanding across Canada.
