Altenar, a leading sportsbook and iGaming software provider, has strengthened its presence in South Africa with the appointment of Brendon Jeacocks as Regional Director.
Jeacocks brings over eight years of experience in the online gaming industry, with a strong background in finance, regulation, and compliance. Prior to joining Altenar, he worked as an independent consultant for South African iGaming brands, and previously served as Financial Manager at African operator SportPesa.
This strategic appointment follows Altenar’s receipt of a National Manufacturer licence from the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board in December 2024. The licence enabled the company to offer its sportsbook technology to licensed operators in South Africa and other African markets.
In his new role, Jeacocks will be responsible for driving Altenar’s growth in South Africa. The company already provides premium data services, a localised sports offering, and a mobile app designed specifically for a mobile-first player base in the region.
