During the BIS SiGMA Americas event in São Paulo, the specialized media outlet Digital Gaming News had the opportunity to speak with Andrés Troelsen, Commercial Director of Belatra, who shared key insights into the company’s evolution, its presence in Latin America, and its roadmap heading into 2025.

Founded in 1993, Belatra began by manufacturing land-based gaming equipment and took its first major step in the Latin American market in 2008 with the opening of its Buenos Aires office. Later, in 2015, the company adapted to new industry trends and successfully ventured into the development of online games. Today, Belatra boasts a portfolio of over 105 titles and operates in nearly 20 Latin American countries.

As part of its participation in BIS SiGMA Americas, the company celebrated its 32nd anniversary by showcasing one of its most successful global titles: Mummy’s Treasure, a slot game that has gained international recognition for its innovative concept. The celebration included a special space and birthday cake, reflecting the brand’s warm and festive spirit.

Troelsen emphasized that Belatra’s strategy has always been to stay close to its clients and tailor its offerings to the specific characteristics of each market. In that vein, he confirmed the company’s presence at two key industry events in the 2025 calendar: SBC Summit Americas in May (Miami) and the Peru Gaming Show (PGS) in June (Lima), where they will welcome partners, clients, and friends at an interactive stand filled with updates and surprises.

Belatra continues to strengthen its position as a key player in the gaming industry, blending experience and innovation with a global vision that prioritizes close client relationships. Its active participation in international events reflects its commitment to sustainable growth and expansion across Latin America and beyond.
