PAY4FUN, one of the leading online payment solutions providers in Brazil, has shared its experience and insights regarding its participation in the SBC Summit Rio in an exclusive interview with Leonardo Baptista, CEO of the company.

When asked about his opinion on the SBC Summit in this edition, Baptista commented: “Rio is completely different from all the other editions of SBC. Not because it’s the first time we’re here at home. Receiving the operators, mainly for us as a provider, receiving the local operators and I think it was very well done. I think as an experience, their first event in Brazil exploded. It was a success and for us, it was three days of excellent discussions, new operators, other operators who are already our partners chatting here, us here in the Pay4Fun space, receiving everyone, the event was divine and we leave here happy knowing that the next one will be much bigger and we already have our space guaranteed there.”

PAY4FUN, with its focus on the Brazilian market, also discussed its expansion plans in Latin America. Baptista explained: “We are in Brazil for now. We had planned to expand to Latin America at the end of last year, but the changes happening in the Brazilian market, the regulation in Brazil. We changed direction again. We are launching our direct picks with the Central Bank and that’s why we delayed the Latam project a bit. But today I was talking about Peru. So, we will probably start until the end of the year with Peru, Chile, and Mexico. In addition to everything we offer in Brazil and now with our direct service, we will be able to provide bank accounts for our users. It’s becoming a bank.”

The company emphasized its commitment to innovation and adapting to changing regulations to offer quality services to its customers both in Brazil and in the upcoming Latin American markets.
