The upcoming edition of SBC Summit Americas 2026 will bring together some of the most influential voices in gaming and sports betting to discuss artificial intelligence, prediction markets, regulation, and the future of the industry across the Americas.
The event will take place from June 9 to 11 at the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale and will feature executives from major companies including bet365 and DraftKings, alongside former U.S. Representative Patrick Kennedy.
The Leaders Stage will form part of SBC Summit Americas’ six-stage conference programme, covering sports betting, casino, affiliation, leadership, regulation, and player protection, with alternating focuses on North American and Latin American markets.
Rasmus Sojmark, Founder and CEO of SBC, highlighted how player expectations have evolved dramatically in recent years.
“A great product is no longer enough. Companies must now become entertainment platforms, media brands, and even financial services all at once,” he explained.
He also noted that the breadth of discussions taking place on the Leaders Stage reflects how far the industry has expanded beyond traditional gaming, allowing SBC to bring together voices from both inside and outside the sector.
Prediction markets and the future of U.S. regulation
One of the most anticipated panels will be “The Current State of Prediction Markets in the US,” exploring how prediction markets are blurring the lines between financial trading and sports betting.
The session will feature Jeanine Hightower Sellitto from DraftKings, Alex Kane from Sporttrade, and Joshua B. Sterling from Milbank.
The panelists will debate whether prediction markets represent a natural evolution of gaming or a direct challenge to existing U.S. regulatory frameworks.
Tribal Nations and gaming representation
Another major topic will focus on the growing role of Tribal Nations in the future of U.S. gaming.
The session “From Regulation to Representation: Giving Tribes a Voice in the Future of U.S. Gaming” will feature Joe Nayquonabe, CEO of Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort; Jacob Coin; and Sheila Morago from Trilogy Group.
The discussion will explore how Tribal communities are seeking to protect sovereignty and influence future gambling policy as prediction markets and sweepstakes-style platforms continue to grow.
Latin America and regulatory challenges
Latin American regulation will also take center stage during the panel “Regulator Rumble: The Future of LatAm.”
Featured speakers include Juan Carlos Santaella Marchán from the Puerto Rico Gaming Commission, Fabio Macorin from the Ministry of Finance of Brazil, and Jaime Rivera Emmanuelli from Saiber LLC.
The panel will examine how regulators and operators can balance the region’s rapid digital growth with clearer and more sustainable regulatory frameworks.
AI, personalization, and player engagement
Artificial intelligence and personalization will also play a major role in the conference agenda.
The fireside chat “Winning Is Everything” will feature Stephanie De Flora, CMO of bet365, discussing the company’s North American expansion and how localized marketing strategies have helped drive long-term customer engagement.
Meanwhile, the keynote “Unlocking AI to Drive Growth” will feature David Edelman, former CMO of Aetna, who will share insights on how AI can be used responsibly to personalize and automate customer experiences at scale.
Player protection and public health
Player protection will also be one of the event’s core themes.
During the keynote “Building a Public Health Response to Gambling Harm,” former U.S. Representative Patrick Kennedy will join medical experts and industry representatives to discuss how prevention, treatment, and education can better address gambling addiction across the United States.
Beyond its conference agenda, SBC Summit Americas will serve as a strategic meeting point for C-level executives, regulators, Tribal leaders, and policymakers shaping the next era of gaming in the Americas.
Additional industry executives appearing across the event’s conference tracks include Andrew Cochrane from Soft2Bet, Ian Botts from Fanatics Betting & Gaming, Kip Levin from Geocomply, Manuel Stan from Catena Media, and Marco Emilio Hincapie from Coljuegos, among many others.
