Casino Guru Awards partners with Ethical Gambling Forum to advance transparency and player protection

Casino Guru has announced a strategic partnership with the Ethical Gambling Forum (EGF), a leading industry event focused on responsible gambling, sustainability, and ethical business practices. This collaboration marks a significant step forward in promoting ethics, transparency, and player protection across the iGaming ecosystem.

As part of this initiative, the Casino Guru Awards will play a central role at the upcoming Ethical Gambling Forum, integrating their evaluation process into an environment that brings together key stakeholders committed to raising industry standards.

On April 30th and May 1st, Casino Guru will host an exclusive judges’ gathering during the conference. This working session will bring together the Awards jury to actively assess shortlisted nominees. As part of the process, judges will engage in direct conversations with candidates, allowing for deeper insight into their operations, values, and commitment to responsible gambling. This hands-on approach reinforces the rigor, transparency, and merit-based nature of the Awards.

In addition, Casino Guru will take part in the conference agenda with a dedicated panel featuring Awards judges and industry experts. The session will explore the importance of independent evaluation, ethical standards in iGaming, and the role of initiatives such as the Casino Guru Awards in fostering a safer and more transparent gambling environment.

Daniela Sliva, PR & Creative Projects Director at Casino Guru, highlighted the alignment between both organizations:
“This partnership with the Ethical Gambling Forum is a natural fit. We share core values such as ethics, transparency, responsible gambling, and player protection. We are not only enhancing transparency but also creating meaningful dialogue between judges and nominees. The ability for our judges to engage directly with shortlisted candidates adds an extra layer of integrity and depth to the evaluation process, which truly sets the Casino Guru Awards apart.”

Jo Abergel, Co-Founder of the Ethical Gambling Forum, also emphasized the importance of the collaboration:
“Partnering with Casino Guru for the Leeds event is an important step in reinforcing the idea that scrutiny must be at the heart of our industry’s future. Bringing our organizations together creates space for honest dialogue and meaningful progress, and we are delighted to collaborate with a partner equally committed to raising the bar for player protection and industry integrity.”

This partnership reflects a shared mission between Casino Guru and the Ethical Gambling Forum: to elevate industry standards and support operators and organizations that genuinely prioritize player well-being. By integrating the Casino Guru Awards judging process into the Ethical Gambling Forum, both parties aim to foster transparency, encourage accountability, and recognize those who lead by example.
