Next week, thousands of stakeholders from Brazil and across the globe will gather for the third edition of SBC Summit Rio to assess the lessons learned from the market’s first year under regulation and what they signal for business strategy in the year ahead.
Taking place from 3–5 March at Riocentro, the event will welcome operators, affiliates and industry stakeholders representing leading game studios, sportsbooks, payment providers, regulatory bodies and marketing agencies for three days of networking and knowledge exchange.
Launched in 2024 as a meeting point for companies exploring Brazil’s newly regulated market, SBC Summit Rio has evolved into a major fixture on the country’s gaming calendar. Last year’s edition recorded 200% year-on-year growth in attendance and secured the “Exhibition Growth of the Year” title at the EN Indy Awards 2025.
Rasmus Sojmark, Founder and CEO of SBC, said the Brazilian market continues to evolve rapidly and that by its third year, conversations have become more nuanced. He noted that companies are seeking clarity, meaningful dialogue with policymakers and direct connections with operators on the ground, all of which the Rio event has been designed to deliver. He added that business takes place during the day, while the evenings are crafted to ensure attendees enjoy the full experience.
Education, Policy and Industry Insight
More than 150 experts will speak across three conference stages, covering leadership, technology innovation, payments, marketing and affiliation. The agenda will address key issues such as managing the speed-versus-fraud trade-offs of PIX, navigating CONAR and platform advertising rules, preparing for evolving tax and jurisdictional debates, and transforming compliance, user experience and acquisition into competitive advantages.
Headline speakers include Chris Kypriotis, former Global VP and CEO of Nike Brazil, and Brazilian streamer Aruan Felix. Kypriotis will explore how high-performance cultures translate into sustained business results, while Felix will provide insights into audience growth, authenticity and monetisation in Brazil’s creator-driven market.
The summit will also host an exclusive keynote titled “The Making of a Regulated Market” on Wednesday, 4 March, featuring Daniele Correa Cardoso and Giovanni Rocco, who will share first-hand insight into the regulatory developments shaping the sector.
Senior representatives from major compliance and enforcement institutions, including CAIXA, the Financial Activities Control Council, the National Advertising Self-Regulation Council, the Brazilian Federal Police, Rio de Janeiro’s Municipal Secretariat of Sport and the Superior Court of Justice, will also take part.
Exhibition and Exclusive Networking
The exhibition floor will serve as the commercial engine of the event, connecting delegates with the suppliers and operators driving Brazil’s betting and gaming ecosystem in 2026. Confirmed exhibitors include Altenar, Amusnet, BetConstruct, Blaze, Digitain, Esportes da Sorte, Evolution, Kambi, Novibet, Optimove, Sofascore and Wazdan.
The show floor will feature dedicated networking lounges, social bars and the return of the Food Festival, offering diverse culinary options for attendees.
In parallel, two specialist side events, the Affiliate Leaders Summit and the Payment Expert Summit, will deliver focused content and networking opportunities for dedicated professional segments.
VIP Event pass holders will gain access to exclusive evening experiences, beginning with an extended Opening Party on 3 March at Rio Beach Club. The summit will conclude on 5 March with INFINITY Rio at Riocentro, featuring Brazilian EDM star Öwnboss and British house DJ Marc Vedo.
