Spotlight Sports Group unveils racing innovation roadmap for 2026 with dual product launch

Spotlight Sports Group, the global racing technology and media organization behind Racing Post, has announced the launch of two new products that will anchor its racing innovation strategy for 2026: Smart View Tipping Feed and Racing Bet Builder.

Both solutions will be made available to operators later this month, marking a significant milestone in the evolution of Spotlight Sports Group’s racing technology offering, as Racing Post approaches its 40th anniversary year.

Developed to provide operators with modern, algorithm-driven tools, the new products aim to increase customer engagement at scale while simplifying the betting experience for both time-poor users and novice racing audiences.

Together, these releases represent the most significant evolution of Smart View to date, extending Spotlight’s trusted racing intelligence beyond traditional racecards into predictive, recommendation-led products designed for today’s sportsbook environments.

Smart View Tipping Feed

Smart View Tipping Feed is a 24/7 global tipping service delivering a continuous stream of ready-to-bet selections across key regions, including the UK and Ireland, the USA and Canada, Australia and New Zealand, France, South Africa and the UAE, with additional markets set to follow.

Each tip is aligned with a clear betting angle, such as Naps, Bankers, Course Legends, Ideal Conditions and Data Aces. This approach provides operators with a consistent flow of high-quality, high-intent content that can be deployed across sportsbook platforms, mobile apps, CRM channels and retail environments.

Racing Bet Builder

Racing Bet Builder marks Spotlight’s first same-race multiple product built specifically for horse racing. The solution delivers intelligent Bet Builder selections across all UK and Irish races where market availability supports same-race multiples.

Rather than offering a single overall verdict, each Bet Builder is constructed from multiple data-led selections across key derivative markets, including To Win, Top Finish, Winning Distance and Match Bets. Every leg is supported by written insight and a Smart View market confidence rating, allowing operators to present racing Bet Builders that are transparent, explainable and powered by trusted expertise.

Data-driven innovation for global audiences

Both products are powered by the Smart View Engine, which evaluates hundreds of variables for every runner and produces clear, interpretable ratings across factors such as ability, trainer form, jockey strength, course suitability, distance and ground preferences, draw bias and jumping proficiency.
