In an exclusive interview with Digital Gaming News, Levon Nikoghosyan, CEO of AffPapa, shares details about the upcoming iGaming Club Conference Cancún 2025, the company’s first-ever event in Latin America. With a focus on high-level networking, strategic synergy, and local talent recognition, Nikoghosyan explains how AffPapa aims to strengthen its global presence and solidify its event model that prioritizes genuine connections within the iGaming ecosystem.
What does the iGaming Club Conference Cancún represent within AffPapa’s global event calendar, and why was Cancún chosen as the venue?
The iGaming Club Conference Cancún marks an important step in AffPapa’s strategic expansion, bringing our renowned networking experience to the LATAM region for the first time. After two successful editions in Malaga, we couldn’t ignore the impressive growth of the iGaming sector across Latin America. We wanted a destination where business and conversation could blend naturally, in an environment that encourages authentic connections — and Cancún provides exactly that.
What is the main vision of the event, and what type of professional audience are you expecting to gather?
At iGaming Club Conference Cancún 2025, we’ll continue doing what we do best: creating meaningful and productive connections between affiliates, operators, and B2B providers, this time with a focus on the Latin American market.
After years of organizing conferences, we’ve identified the ideal participant ratio to maintain a balanced and high-value networking environment. In Cancún, we expect to welcome more than 400 attendees: 40% affiliates, 40% operators, and 20% B2B providers.
Our main goal is to bring together decision-makers and innovators from the LATAM iGaming ecosystem, driving the region’s growth in a sustainable and collaborative way.
What can attendees expect in terms of networking, content, and overall experience during the event?
The heart of iGaming Club Conference Cancún 2025 is meaningful interaction. We want connections to happen naturally and seamlessly. The event will feature numerous networking opportunities, panel discussions, and interactive sessions designed to explore the iGaming landscape in LATAM and strengthen strategic partnerships.
Our panels will cover emerging trends and current challenges in the Latin American market, ensuring that every attendee leaves with practical and actionable insights to enhance their business.
What makes the LATAM edition of the AffPapa iGaming Awards stand out compared to the international editions?
The LATAM edition of the AffPapa iGaming Awards is entirely focused on recognizing the region’s top performers. While our international awards have a global scope, this edition aims to highlight the affiliates, operators, and B2B providers driving local growth.
Our goal is to shine a spotlight on those who have demonstrated exceptional performance, innovation, and influence in their markets, celebrating the talent and creativity that define Latin America.
What are the main objectives of these awards, and what impact do you expect them to have on the regional iGaming community?
The core mission of the AffPapa iGaming Awards LATAM is to celebrate and elevate the leading figures of the regional iGaming sector. We aim to establish excellence benchmarks specifically for the Latin American market, recognizing true merit and inspiring others in the industry to continue evolving.
Ultimately, our broader goal remains the same — to build a healthier, more transparent, and sustainable iGaming ecosystem that fosters collaboration and raises industry standards across the region.
This year, the iGaming Club event will move from Malaga to Madrid. What motivated this decision?
The move of iGaming Club 2026 to Madrid is mainly driven by scale and growth. The conferences have expanded in size and scope, and we needed a venue that could meet the demands of a larger and more international audience.
Madrid was the natural choice — a globally connected capital with world-class gastronomy, culture, accommodation, and infrastructure.
Malaga has been a wonderful home for the event for the past two years, but growth requires evolution. Madrid offers the space, visibility, and resources needed to host our biggest conference to date, while maintaining the high-quality, curated networking experience that iGaming Club is known for.
What new features or improvements will the 2026 edition introduce compared to previous years?
In Madrid, we expect to welcome more than 1,500 attendees at a venue twice the size of previous ones. This growth not only reflects the increasing popularity of the event but also translates into more connections and business opportunities for all participants.
Attendees already know and appreciate our signature experiences — panel discussions, speed networking sessions, branded booths, exclusive networking opportunities, and of course, the AffPapa iGaming Awards. For 2026, we’re adding a new customizable booth option, allowing exhibitors to express their brand identity in a more creative and authentic way.
With its debut in Latin America, AffPapa reaffirms its commitment to global expansion, innovation, and building authentic connections within the iGaming industry. The iGaming Club Conference Cancún 2025 is set to become a regional benchmark, while iGaming Club Madrid 2026 will further solidify the brand’s reputation as a leading platform for high-impact networking experiences.
