Sportsbook provider reinforces commitment to local sporting initiatives with three-year extension
Altenar, a leading sportsbook and iGaming software provider, has confirmed the extension of its sponsorship for the 2025 Isle of Man Marathon and Half Marathon, securing its support for an additional three years through to 2027.
This year’s edition of the popular event is set to take place on 10th August and will mark the third consecutive year of Altenar’s involvement. The sponsorship aligns with the company’s broader strategy to invest in and actively support the Isle of Man community.
Demonstrating hands-on engagement, Altenar’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO), John Quaye, will once again take part in the demanding course. This year’s participants will receive redesigned medals, t-shirts, and trophies, with additional medals awarded to winners of the Isle of Man Marathon Championships.
Central to Altenar’s long-term strategy is the cultivation of strong ties with the Isle of Man community, seeking meaningful and proactive ways to strengthen its local presence. As part of its wider Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) objectives, Altenar has also signed a new sponsorship deal for the island’s Gran Fondo cycling race, further expanding its commitment to regional sporting events.
John Quaye, CFO at Altenar, commented:
“We are delighted to support the Isle of Man Marathon and Half Marathon for a third year. It has been such a rewarding journey, and we’ve thoroughly enjoyed being part of such a meaningful local tradition. We are also pleased to announce that Altenar will remain the official sponsor for another two years at least.”
“Being able to actively support our community and engage in events like this is something we take great pride in at Altenar.”
