Total Performance Data (TPD), the world’s leading provider of live horse racing data, has officially launched its GPS tracking, In-Running odds, and live race graphics at Palermo Racecourse in Buenos Aires — marking the company’s third installation in South America.

With the technology now fully operational, Palermo becomes the latest illustrious racing venue to benefit from TPD’s market-leading solution, which combines precise real-time positioning with In-Running pricing and rich visual race graphics. The system enhances the racing experience for fans, bettors, broadcasters, and racing professionals, while unlocking new commercial and digital opportunities for the track.

The deployment at Palermo adds to TPD’s growing footprint in Chile and underscores the company’s commitment to bringing world-class race data solutions to South America. Palermo now joins an elite group of international racecourses using TPD’s technology, including Ascot (UK), Churchill Downs (USA), and Meydan (UAE).

Adam Moore, Director of Racing Partnerships at TPD, said: “We are delighted to go live at Palermo, one of the most iconic and illustrious racecourses in Latin America. Being our third installation in South America, this reflects growing demand in the region for the kind of high-quality tracking and performance data that drives modern racing engagement. We are proud to support the passionate team at Palermo in their pursuit of innovation and enhanced fan experience.”

Will Duff Gordon, CEO at TPD, added: “We are so pleased to be partnering with the iconic Palermo racecourse, and we look forward to shining a data-driven spotlight on the equine athletes that perform there. Palermo’s management team have been very supportive of TPD since inception and it’s our pleasure to see them join the global roster of over 150 smart racecourses.”

Federico Spangenberg, Racing Manager at Hipódromo de Palermo, said: “We are very excited and proud to join the standards of international horseracing by including TPD in our broadcast and becoming the first racecourse in Argentina to incorporate this cutting-edge technology. TPD brings transparency and competitiveness to the races at Palermo, enhancing the experience for racing fans and industry professionals from all over the world.”
