The inaugural edition of SBC Summit Rio, held in 2024, exceeded all expectations, drawing over 4,000 attendees—well beyond the initial projection of 3,000. “The reception was phenomenal. We brought together regulators, affiliates, suppliers, and key industry players, proving the event’s relevance in the Brazilian market,” Robalino commented. The event’s success was further reinforced by outstanding post-event survey results.

For 2025, the event is moving to a larger venue, the Riocentro Convention Center, to accommodate an expected audience of 15,000 attendees.

This year’s edition promises an expanded experience with several new features, including:

• Influencer Academy: A dedicated space to discuss regulations and best practices for content creators in the sports betting industry.

A Key Platform for Brazil’s Regulatory Framework

The event will feature a dedicated regulatory conference room with lawmakers and industry experts discussing Brazil’s new gaming regulations. “It’s crucial to understand the new rules and their impact on operators, affiliates, and influencers,” Robalino emphasized.

Brazilian Culture Takes Center Stage

Coinciding with the start of Carnival, SBC Summit Rio will incorporate themed activities, including a special Carnival-inspired party. “We scheduled the event right before Carnival so attendees can fully immerse themselves in Brazilian culture,” Robalino highlighted.

With exponential growth and innovative proposals, SBC Summit Rio 2025 is set to be a must-attend event for the iGaming industry in Latin America.
