Genius Sports and IBIA Establish Global Partnership for Sports Integrity
Agreement Includes Genius Sports Becoming an Associate Member of IBIA

Genius Sports and the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA) have announced a global partnership for sharing information on sports betting integrity and a broader collaboration against match-fixing. This agreement establishes a powerful alliance between one of the world’s largest sports technology companies, Genius Sports, and IBIA, the leading global monitoring body for betting integrity.
Under the terms of the agreement, Genius Sports and IBIA will share information on suspicious betting activities obtained from their respective monitoring and intelligence platforms, within agreed parameters. The agreement also includes access to technological resources and integrity reports, with the possibility of collaborating on broader match-fixing prevention activities on a global scale. Additionally, Genius Sports will become an associate member of IBIA.

IBIA members generate over $300 billion in annual betting turnover, representing approximately 50% of the regulated commercial sports betting sector, both online and land-based, and over 50% online alone.
IBIA’s global monitoring network is a highly effective anti-corruption tool that detects and reports suspicious activities in regulated betting markets. Through IBIA’s monitoring network, it is possible to track transactional activities linked to individual customer accounts. IBIA’s Q1 2024 report detailed 56 alerts during the quarter. IBIA alerts contributed to investigations and the successful sanctioning of 21 clubs, players, and officials in 2023, an increase from 15 sanctioned in 2022.
