SIS returns as Sponsor of the historic argentine Derby at hipódromo de Palermo

November 17, 2023

SIS, the global leader in exclusive distribution of horse racing images and data, is pleased to announce its sponsorship of the Gran Premio Nacional, the iconic Argentine Derby, held at the Hipódromo Argentino de Palermo on November 11.

This collaboration further solidifies our longstanding partnership with the Palermo racecourse, where SIS is the exclusive global distributor of images and data. The event is part of a series of Group 1 races held throughout the year, including the Gran Premio República, Gran Premio Polla de Potrillos y Potrancas, and Gran Premio Selección.

SIS’s support for these competitions underscores our strong commitment to promoting horse racing in the Latin American region. We fondly recall last year’s event, where Garabo-trained Handsome Boy emerged as the champion.

All these thrilling races are available through our 24/7 Live Betting services, offering a comprehensive solution with round-the-clock betting events. This includes live-streamed pictures, real-time data, on-screen graphics with betting triggers, and an extensive range of markets and odds.

In total, we deliver more than 40,000 live horse racing events worldwide each year, covering races from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, and Uruguay.

Michele Fischer, Vice President of SIS Content Services, remarked:

The Gran Premio Nacional is a highlight in the Argentine racing calendar, and we are once again looking forward to sponsoring the race. This agreement further strengthens our relationship with the Hipódromo Argentino de Palermo, in a region of great importance for both SIS and the racing industry as a whole.”

Hernan Fucile, Director of Simulcasting Operations at Hipódromo Argentino de Palermo, added:

“We are delighted to build on the success of last year’s Nacional and continue to enhance our partnership with SIS. The race is always an entertaining spectacle and promised to attract viewers not only to Buenos Aires but globally when the action commenced.”
