SIS to offer a new dynamic greyhound racing calendar to global operators in 2024

November 3, 2023

Sports Information Services (SIS), a global leader in providing sports content and betting services, is delighted to announce its exciting new greyhound racing calendar for 2024. This calendar promises an unparalleled experience for greyhound racing enthusiasts and betting operators worldwide.

SIS’s provisional greyhound racing calendar for 2024 includes a sustainable offering of a minimum of 42 weekly meetings at well-established tracks in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Among the standout additions are two of the most popular tracks in the circuit, Oxford and Towcester, as well as the thrilling English and Irish Greyhound Derbies.

This calendar is characterized by its flexibility and content quality. It features two meetings in the morning, afternoon, and evening, with 12 races per meeting as the norm, and no early morning starts. Changes in rights agreements and the greyhound population have enabled SIS to create a schedule that caters to customer needs and enhances engagement levels.

Additionally, SIS has entered into long-term agreements with leading betting operators such as bet365, William Hill, Paddy Power, and Betfred to offer their greyhound content across digital and retail channels in the UK and Ireland. This content will be available to international operators, meaning the excitement of greyhound racing can be enjoyed worldwide.

SIS’s live racing content provides a comprehensive solution that includes live streaming, data, on-screen graphics with betting triggers, and a wide range of markets and odds, delivering seamless betting experiences for fans.

Paul Witten, General Director of SIS, expressed his enthusiasm for this new approach:

When formulating our streamlined 2024 calendar, we focused on offering tracks owned by greyhound enthusiasts who share a passion for the sport. We believe our approach is sensible, sustainable, and positive for the industry. There will undoubtedly be minor adjustments as the calendar evolves to reflect the balance between trainers and greyhounds at the tracks, but we now have the flexibility to provide a program that caters to the evolving betting sector.

We also appreciate the increased exposure of Irish circuits, which are scheduled in more traditional time slots. We believe this schedule will benefit all stakeholders.”

SIS is excited to provide greyhound racing fans and betting operators with a dynamic and thrilling calendar in 2024. A commitment to excellence and innovation continues to drive SIS’s leadership in the industry.
