The LinkedIn Live panel on 29 October will bring together experts from both companies to discuss how operators can turn industry insights into sustainable growth strategies across regulated markets.
SOFTSWISS and WorldGaming, formerly Clarion Gaming, will host “2027 iGaming Trends: Turning Insights into Action”, a live panel exploring the developments reshaping the industry and how operators can adapt their strategies to remain competitive.
The session will take place on LinkedIn Live on 29 October 2026 at 14:00 CET, featuring Robin Harrison, Global Content Director B2B at WorldGaming, and Pavel Kaplunov, Head of Content Marketing at SOFTSWISS.
Building on the 2027 iGaming Trends report, the discussion will examine the forces redefining player acquisition, trust-building, and brand competitiveness across regulated markets.
Rethinking Growth Strategies in Regulated Markets
Rising acquisition costs and intensifying competition are prompting operators to reconsider their approaches to growth. In this environment, bonus-led promotions and complicated customer journeys may no longer deliver the results operators expect.
The panel will address several questions relevant to the industry’s 2027 outlook, including what motivates players to sign up and remain active beyond bonuses, how simplicity can become a competitive advantage, and how certification, transparent reviews, and responsible gambling practices influence player decisions.
The speakers will also explore the respective roles of operators, affiliates, and game providers in shaping player choices, as well as which lessons from fintech, e-commerce, and other industries can be adapted to regulated iGaming markets.
Research Backed by Industry Insights and Data
The 2027 iGaming Trends report marks the fifth edition of SOFTSWISS’ annual research, produced in partnership with WorldGaming. It draws on more than 65 expert interviews, a survey of over 500 industry professionals, and an analysis of more than 480,000 media headlines to identify signals pointing to the sector’s next major shifts.
Pavel Kaplunov says the report aims to provide a broader view of the industry while supporting identified trends with data, helping operators better understand market developments and make informed strategic decisions for 2027 and beyond.
Robin Harrison highlights that strategies do not translate equally across markets, given differences in regulation, payments, player expectations, and how audiences discover brands. Understanding which lessons can be applied across markets, and which decisions require a local approach, is therefore essential.
How to Join the Panel
The live session will include a Q&A segment, and attendees can submit questions in advance through this form.
