Yaspa, the fintech company specializing in payments and identity solutions, has further strengthened its reputation as one of the industry’s leading innovators after securing two major accolades at the EGR B2B Awards 2026, held in London on June 3.
The company claimed victory in both the AI Solutions Provider and Safer Gambling Supplier categories, highlighting Yaspa’s commitment to leveraging advanced technology to improve player protection and drive innovation across the iGaming sector.
The EGR B2B Awards recognize the most outstanding suppliers serving the global online gaming industry. This year, the judging panel particularly praised Yaspa’s Intelligent Payments platform, which uses artificial intelligence to identify connections between players’ financial wellbeing and gambling behavior.
When awarding Yaspa the AI Solutions Provider title, judges highlighted the company’s ability to combine technological innovation, research-backed insights, and social responsibility.
“Yaspa has demonstrated a highly credible, research-backed, and socially responsible innovation that uses AI to address one of the industry’s toughest challenges: linking financial well-being with gaming behaviour,” the judges stated.
The company also received the Safer Gambling Supplier award for its innovative approach to identifying financial vulnerability through open banking technology and risk indicators, helping operators strengthen responsible gambling frameworks and player protection measures.
These latest achievements add to an impressive list of industry recognitions earned by Yaspa over the past year. The company was previously named Payment Solution of the Year at the SBC Awards Europe and Best Payments Solutions Provider at the European iGaming Awards. It also received the Real-Time Payments Innovation award at the Payments Awards 2025 and was included in the prestigious CB Insights Top 100 Fintechs, which highlights the world’s most promising and innovative financial technology companies.
James Neville, CEO of Yaspa, welcomed the double success and praised the work carried out by the company’s team since its inception.
“Winning not one but two awards at the prestigious EGR B2B Awards is an incredible achievement and a testament to the dedication and hard work of the entire Yaspa team,” Neville said.
He added that the recognition demonstrates the growing role of artificial intelligence in creating safer gambling environments and reflects the direction in which the industry is evolving.
“The industry’s recognition of how our technology is using AI to make gambling safer demonstrates where the market is heading and how we are leading technological innovation in this space,” he added.
The awards come during a period of sustained growth for Yaspa. Over the last 18 months, the company has expanded significantly following a $12 million investment round led by Discerning Capital. This growth has supported the opening of a new office in Atlanta, United States, as well as the launch of a technology hub in Leeds, United Kingdom.
With these latest awards, Yaspa continues to reinforce its commitment to delivering innovative solutions that combine technology, regulatory compliance, and player protection, positioning itself at the forefront of payments innovation and responsible gaming within the global iGaming industry.
