SBC Summit Americas 2026 is set to deliver a more immersive educational experience with the launch of a new series of interactive masterclasses designed to help attendees tackle some of the most pressing challenges facing the gaming and betting industry across the Americas.
Taking place on June 10-11 in Room 207 at the Broward County Convention Center, the sessions will provide a hands-on alternative to the event’s traditional conference format. Each masterclass will be led by leading industry experts and will encourage participants to collaborate on real-world scenarios alongside fellow professionals.
Key discussions will address major industry topics for 2026, including the regulatory uncertainty surrounding sweepstakes and prediction markets, investment opportunities for startups, and the responsible use of influencer marketing.
“This year’s educational program is by far the most ambitious we have ever delivered, and the addition of these masterclasses brings an entirely new level of depth and engagement for attendees,” said Rasmus Sojmark. “Education is not just about listening. It’s about asking difficult questions, collaborating with peers facing similar challenges, and putting theory into practice. That is exactly what these masterclasses are designed to achieve.”
One of the headline sessions, “Prediction Markets: Cross-Border Legal Challenges and Role of Gaming Regulation,” will explore how prediction markets are classified across legal, financial, and gaming regulatory frameworks. Industry experts Ian Thomas, Joshua Kirschner, Sara Tait, and Bill Gantz will discuss whether current regulations remain fit for purpose, highlight enforcement differences between North America and Latin America, and examine the legal risks operators face when entering the sector.
Another featured session, “Cross-Border & Outbound Sweepstakes Opportunities,” will focus on the complexities and opportunities tied to international expansion for sweepstakes operators. Led by John K. Maloney, Christian Tirabassi, Christian Rapani, Kevin Weber, and Joerg Hofmann, the masterclass will provide guidance on structuring compliant cross-border campaigns, navigating new jurisdictions, and building effective localisation strategies.
Influencer marketing will also take center stage during “Betting on Influence: An Analysis of Sports Betting Influencers.” Bryson Huey and Alan Feldman will examine real-life influencer content to demonstrate how linguistic, psychological, and visual techniques can be used responsibly to engage modern audiences while remaining compliant with industry regulations.
In addition, attendees will have access to two startup-focused investment masterclasses. “What Gets Funded and What Gets Bought: Inside the Minds of Investors and Operators” will examine the factors driving investment and acquisition decisions across the sector, while “Fundraising 101: Win Your First Round” will provide startups with a practical roadmap to securing early-stage funding through real-world examples.
The educational masterclasses are part of SBC Summit Americas’ wider “Knowledge Vault,” which will feature more than 250 speakers from across the Americas and beyond. The six-stage conference agenda will cover leadership, sports betting and casino, payments and technology, affiliation, regulation, and player protection.
Conference Passes are now available for USD 399, granting attendees full access to the “Knowledge Vault,” including workshops, post-event content, and the exhibition floor.
Operators and affiliates may also qualify for a complimentary VIP Pass, subject to approval.
