SIS (Sports Information Services), the leading multi-content provider of 24/7 live betting services, has been honored with the prestigious Princess Royal Training Award for its LEADERship Programme.
The programme, developed over the past five years in partnership with training consultancy Co-Creation, was recognized by the City & Guilds Foundation alongside HRH The Princess Royal, following a rigorous evaluation process. The winners, announced on August 15th, coinciding with Her Royal Highness’ 75th birthday, will officially receive their award at a ceremony later this year.
Staying true to its heritage of delivering best-in-class service to partners, SIS invests heavily in training and skills development. Its 12-month LEADERship Programme equips participants with essential tools through Co-Creation’s masterclasses, preparing them to take the next step in their careers within the company.
The initiative focuses on key areas such as confidence building, delegation, presentation skills, and cross-department collaboration. Its impact has been significant, with graduates moving into leadership positions across SIS.
Launched in 2016 by the City & Guilds Foundation, the Princess Royal Training Awards celebrate organizations that have created outstanding training initiatives with measurable, positive business outcomes.
Gail Haworth, Head of HR Business Partnering at SIS, said:
“Over the last five years, graduates from our Programme have shown impressive progress, taking on greater responsibilities and stepping into genuine leadership roles across the business. Receiving the Princess Royal Training Award, especially in this tenth anniversary year, is a true honor. It underlines our commitment to high-quality training initiatives and a culture of learning that empowers people to thrive.”
Kath Thomas, from Co-Creation, added:
“We are incredibly proud to see the LEADERship Programme recognized with such a prestigious accolade. It is a testament to SIS’s long-term investment in people and their belief in the power of purposeful development.”
Keith Stopforth, also from Co-Creation, concluded:
“Co-creating this journey with the SIS team over the last five years has been a privilege. Watching so many individuals grow into confident, capable leaders making a real impact across the business has been truly inspiring.”
